■ Purpose of use

Cultural events such as

  • Please refrain from holding religious or political gatherings.
  • Eating and drinking is allowed. Please make sure to take any trash you bring home with you.


■ Date and time of use

In principle, weekdays (Monday to Friday) 10:00 to 17:00 *Excluding public holidays

  • If you wish to use the facility on closed days (Wednesdays) or outside opening hours, please contact us separately.
  • Rentals are suspended during Golden Week, August 6th to 20th, and the New Year holidays.

・All items except for the piano (※) are included in the usage fee. See below for usage fees.

・The water server and coffee machine in the salon cannot be used.


■ Price list

Salon hours (10:00-17:00) April to October (Monday to Friday) 100,000 yen (tax included)
November to March (Saturdays and Sundays) 100,000 yen (tax included)
November to March (Monday to Friday) 80,000 yen (tax included)
Salon extension fee (until 18:00) 1 hr 10,000 yen (tax included)
Piano usage fee (until 18:00) *If a piano needs to be moved, a fee will be charged regardless of whether it is used or not. 10,000 yen (tax included)

Salon usage time includes preparation time such as loading and unloading and rehearsals.

・Our staff will be in charge of setting up the venue, so please let us know at least 3 days before the day of use.

・The rental fee includes chairs (85 chairs), long tables (3 tables), round tables (6 tables), a screen, microphones (wired and wireless), a podium, music stands (4 units), dedicated WiFi, and venue setup fees.

・If you would like to use the piano (New York Steinway Model A Art Case (made in 1899)), an additional 30,000 yen (tax included) will be charged.


■Payment

Please pay on the day of your visit. We accept the following payment methods:

  • cash
  • Credit card (VISA, Mastercard, JCB, American Express, Diners Club)
  • Various barcode payments (PayPay, etc.)
  • Touch payment (SUICA, transportation cards, nanaco, WAON, QUIC Pay)

■Cancellation policy

* If you cancel during the period below, a cancellation fee will be charged.

  • 7 to 2 days before: 50% of the usage fee (50% of the transfer amount will be refunded)
  • 1 day before/on the day: 100% of the usage fee

will be charged as a cancellation fee.


■Notes on use

  • Please apply at least three months before the desired date of use. However, whether or not use is permitted is at the discretion of the hotel, regardless of the reason.
  • The organizers must be responsible for announcements, personnel arrangements, and reception staff arrangements (museum staff will not be involved).
  • If any use is found to be contrary to the purpose or content of the project, or to be interfering with the operation of the museum, we will take immediate action such as canceling or suspending use.
  • We are not responsible for any accidents, loss or theft that occur during use.
  • The organizers will be liable for compensation for any damage, breakage, or soiling of the venue and facilities.
  • The organizers may not change the purpose or content of the project or transfer or sublease the rights of use without the permission of the museum.
  • Please be sure to take home any trash you bring with you.
  • There is no private parking lot within the building. Please use the Shin-Karuizawa Town Parking Lot.
