This special collection features designs that will decorate the three years from 2023 to 2025, based on the museum's collection of Tsuguharu Foujita's "Ten Forms of Cat" (1929).

"Ten Possibilities of Cats" is a collection of prints based on Fujita's watercolors, published in 1929 by Apollo in Paris. It was printed using a mixed technique that combines drypoint, known as the Macart method, and etching. The cats, vividly depicted in ten different poses, can be said to be one of Fujita's masterpieces of cats from the 1920s. The soft colors, which are also common to the "milky ground" works that made Fujita famous in the same era, and the delicate texture of the fur and relaxed poses expressed on the paper make it seem as if you can hear the cats' breathing.

This product was created in collaboration with Tachikichi, a long-established ceramics store in Kyoto, and is a masterpiece that combines tradition and high quality.
