This tote bag features Tsuguharu Foujita's "Young Greco Holding a Cat."

This work was a gift from Fujita to the French diva Juliette Gréco on her wedding day. Gréco regularly visited Fujita's studio, and it is said that the two would sometimes talk about their childhoods, sometimes about their troubles.

This work was painted while retaining the image of her as a child, which Fujita discovered during his conversation with Greco. The work conveys the deep friendship that bound the two together.

This adorable piece is filled with the innocence of a young girl, even though her mouth is tightly closed and her expression is somewhat sad . Also noteworthy is the charming expression of the cat held on her lap.

The size is perfect for fitting A4 size documents, so it's also recommended as a sub-bag for going out or commuting to work or school!
